Earth Hour is the world’s largest environmental action. Running since 2005, Earth Hour involves individuals and organizations switching off lights for one hour to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. As a responsible corporate citizen and signatory to the Hong Kong Clean Air Charter, MTL is dedicated to being part of the solution to the world’s environmental problems. On 29 March 2014, Modern Terminals' business units in Hong Kong and Mainland China joined Earth Hour and switched off all non-essential lights from 8:30 to 9:30pm, demonstrating our commitment to the environment and this global movement.
