High Awareness towards Occupational Safety and Health among Modern Terminals People

Mr. Jaren Lee of Modern Terminals has won the Safety Slogan Competition, part of the Kwai Tsing Container Terminals Occupational Safety & Health Campaign, competing against 300 entries from container terminals’ and contractors’ employees. He received the award from Mr. Donald Tong, JP, Commissioner for Labour, and Ms. Jessie Chung, Chairman of Hong Kong Container Terminals Operators Association (HKCTOA). Another MTL staff, Mr. Chung Wing-hong, also received a merit award for his slogan entry.

The Campaign is organized by the HKCTOA and supported by all five member terminal operators, with an aim to further foster a safety culture at work through a series of activities reaching out to the Kwai Tsing community and the general public. The Labour Department and Occupational Safety and Health Council are the Campaign’s co-organizers.
