DaChan Bay Terminals Welcomes New and Enhanced Middle East Services

05 November 2024

On 5 November, DaChan Bay Terminals welcomed a new service providing a direct and quick connection between South China and the Middle East. Operated by ESL, Global Feeder Shipping, KMTC, and T.S. Lines, the service code is SMX / SMX / AIM3 / SMX respectively.

The new service provides fast, reliable, and cost-effective logistics solutions for importers and exporters for shipments between South China and the Middle East.

In addition, the existing GLX / GALEX / AIM service operated by ESL, Global Feeder Shipping and KMTC respectively has been enhanced with Ocean Network Express (ONE) joining as an operator with service code GLX.  The two services enhance further the Middle East service network available at DaChan Bay Terminals by offering shorter transit times, expanding the coverage in the Middle East, and increasing the frequency of services.

DaChan Bay Terminals Managing Director Brian Yeung said: “We are delighted that DaChan Bay Terminals is the port of choice for these Middle East services. The services provide more choices for exporters to tap into the emerging markets in the Middle East.”
