Project WeCan Activity – Young Innovators Bazaar 2016

24 February 2016

The Young Innovators Bazaar, one of the annual large-scale joint-school Project WeCan activities, was successfully held at Plaza Hollywood, Diamond Hill, Hong Kong, between 22 and 24 January. Over 1,000 students from 41 schools took the opportunity to learn to run a business, unleashing their creativity and entrepreneurship while jockeying for their sales targets.

This year, the Bazaar’s theme was Social Inclusion. Students were encouraged to demonstrate their caring spirit for society while running their business. Cotton Spinners Association Secondary School (CSA), the partner school of MTL, lived up to the expectation by collaborating with the elderly and people from a rehabilitation centre in the neighbourhood of the school in the creation of the products for sale. Students from CSA were on the first place of the “Best Social Inclusion Award”, and the “Best Salesperson” award, and came top of the “Best Oral Presentation Award”.
