Building Sustainability Through Sharing
Throughout the month of September, Modern Terminals’ “Share More, Joy More” environmental campaign saw staff, contractors and tenants of the company work together to promote environmental awareness across MTL’s Hong Kong operations.
Organized by MTL’s Environmental Promotion Taskforce, the campaign promoted sustainability through the reuse and recycling of various items – from bags to personal accessories, educational toys to decorations and ornaments. Participants were able to take part in both the joy of giving and receiving by donating items at collection points and taking away any donated items that could be reused in their daily lives. Any remaining items were donated to The Salvation Army at the campaign’s close.
The success of “Share More, Joy More” proves that Modern Terminals is committed to improving environmental awareness at every level and acting on that awareness to create sustainable and measurable results for a greener tomorrow.
