Terminals Limited is pleased to announce that
Mr. Andrew Milliken joins the company effective
on 1 July 2007. Mr. Milliken will officially
take up the position of Managing Director of
Da Chan Bay Terminal One, Western Shenzhen,
when it comes on stream in end of this year.
Mr Milliken
brings to the five-berth Da Chan Bay Terminal
One his more than 35 years of container terminal
management experience covering ports in Hong
Kong, Philippines, and the UK as well as regional
port management and business development experience
in Singapore and Dubai.
Situated in
the Western Shenzhen Port area in South China,
Da Chan Bay Terminal One is being developed
as a new world-class container terminal serving
the Pan-Pearl River Delta cargo-catchment areas.
Sixty-five
percent of its shares are held by Modern Terminals
Limited, the longest-established container terminal
operator in Hong Kong. The other 35 percent
of its shares have been taken up by Shenzhen
Dachan Bay Port Investment and Development Co.,
Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Shenzhen
Municipal Government.
