Hong Kong container terminal operator Modern Terminals Limited signed a contract ordering 4 Quay Cranes and 23 Rubber-tyred Gantry Cranes from Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited on 7 September 2005 . These units of equipment are ordered as Modern Terminals is undertaking a Facility Upgrade Project. The objective of this project is to boost the Terminals’ total throughput capacity by up to 25%, by enhancing its productivity and efficiency to meet current and future customer requirements.
